Madrid, July 21, 2025 – As part of his working visit to Spain, the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), Mr. Rafis Abazov, held bilateral meetings with Mr. María Rosario Cristóbal, Vice-Rector of the Complutense University of Madrid, and Mr. Segundo Piris Durán, Rector of the UNIE University.

The meetings focused on expanding academic and scientific cooperation between KazNARU and Spanish universities. Key topics included aligning academic programs, ensuring language compatibility, organizing professional internships, and exploring opportunities for joint participation in European Union-funded scientific projects.

Both sides expressed interest in faculty and student exchange, as well as in implementing joint research projects related to sustainable development.

The visit marked an important step toward elevating the partnership between KazNARU and Spanish higher education institutions to a new strategic level.
