Brasília, July 22, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov, held an online meeting with the Executive Director of the Chilean company ME Elecmetal, Eugenio Ortega.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current status and future prospects of the company’s investment project for the production of steel grinding balls in Kazakhstan.

The Chilean side provided information about the process of registering the company in Kazakhstan as a legal entity, ongoing negotiations with local authorities regarding the localization of the project, the acquisition of government incentives, the successful conclusion of the first off-take agreement with the Kazakh side, as well as the process of negotiating a Special Investment Contract between «ME Elecmetal» and the Government of Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan wished the Chilean company success in the implementation of the project, reaffirmed the Embassy’s readiness to provide full support, and invited the company’s leadership to participate in major economic events involving Kazakhstan and international companies this year.
