In June of this year, a total of 867.4 thousand people received the above-mentioned payments amounting to 51.3 billion tenge. This includes:

• 623.5 thousand families received allowances for large families totaling 44.8 billion tenge;
• 243.9 thousand individuals received allowances for awarded mothers totaling 6.5 billion tenge.

Families with four or more cohabiting minor children or full-time students under the age of 23 are eligible for the large family allowance, regardless of household income.

In 2025, the amount of the allowance is differentiated based on the number of children:

• With 4 children – 16.03 MCI or 63,030 tenge;
• With 5 children – 20.04 MCI or 78,798 tenge;
• With 6 children – 24.05 MCI or 94,565 tenge;
• With 7 children – 28.06 MCI or 110,332 tenge;
• With 8 or more children – 4 MCI or 15,728 tenge per child.

The allowance for awarded mothers is granted to women who have received the “Altyn alqa” or “Kumis alqa” pendants, previously held the title “Mother-Heroine,” or were awarded the Orders of “Maternal Glory” I and II degrees.

The monthly payments are as follows:

• For recipients of the “Kumis alqa” – 6.40 MCI or 25,165 tenge;
• For recipients of the “Altyn alqa,” “Mother-Heroine” title, or the Orders of “Maternal Glory” – 7.40 MCI or 29,097 tenge.

As of January 1, 2025, all state social benefits for families with children have been increased by 6.5%.
