Today, the district akim Zhandos Erkinbek specially received the winner of the Asian Youth Weightlifting Championship, our compatriot Yerasyl Saulebekov.

In his speech, the district head said:

“Erasyl is the pride of Karmakshy. This victory is not just a sporting success, but a historical moment that will serve as an example for our youth to strive for heights. On behalf of the district, I would like to thank you and wish you to achieve new heights,” he noted.

The district akim presented a letter of appreciation and a financial certificate to Yerasyl, who has brought honor to the country in the international arena. He also honored his personal trainer, Aidar Yeraliyev, for his hard work and perseverance.

During the event, the chairman of the Karmakshy district maslikhat, Adil Koshalakov, and the chairman of the district veterans' council, Askar Merekov, delivered congratulatory speeches, expressing their gratitude to our young athlete, noting that Yerasyl's victory was a great achievement that brought joy not only to the district, but also to the entire Syr region.

It should be noted that currently, systematic work is being carried out in the Karmakshy district to develop mass sports. Among them, the weightlifting department has been established since 2014, where winners of world and national championships are being trained. Today, about 50 young athletes are working there to reach a professional level.
