Islamabad, July 23, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, held a meeting with the President of Daily Ittehad and Vice President of the Council of Newspaper Editors of Pakistan, Mr. Tahir Farooq.

During the meeting, Mr. Tahir Farooq informed about the establishment of the Center for Regional Connectivity and Shared Future and shared the main objectives and upcoming plans of the newly formed institution.

Considering the importance of regional connectivity in the bilateral agenda of Kazakhstan and Pakistan, Mr. T.Farooq expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Kazakhstani analytical and research institutions.

In turn, Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin briefed on the current activities and key events held in 2025, as well as future plans, noting the positive dynamics in Kazakhstan–Pakistan cooperation.

The Ambassador welcomed the proposals put forward and expressed readiness to support the new initiative.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of the delegation of the Center for Regional Connectivity and Shared Future to Kazakhstan.
