On July 11, 2025, a large-scale clean-up was organized in the Kazygurt microdistrict of the Turan district as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" republican campaign. The campaign was held with the joint efforts of residents and employees of municipal institutions. Activists, volunteers and residents of the district actively participated in it, and sanitary cleaning measures were carried out, paying special attention to the rural nature.
On Saturday, a total of about 100 people participated and 8 technical service vehicles were mobilized. The event, which covered a large area of the territory, collected not only household waste, but also heavy materials such as randomly dumped construction materials - sand, stone, clay - and removed them to the appropriate places. At the same time, special attention was paid to the improvement of flower beds and roadside areas.
The station part of the campaign is to issue warnings and take legal measures against citizens who illegally dump garbage. Special employees filled out warning protocols for violators and explained to them the requirements of common culture. This information-psychological approach was aimed at forming a mentality of environmental protection among society.
From an ecosystem perspective, the Sabbath has had a significant impact. First, the accumulation of construction waste and household waste prevents the contamination of soil and groundwater. This supports the habitat of essential components of the natural ecosystem (plants, insects). Second, the cleaning of environmental areas reduces dust and contributes to improving air quality. Third, green areas, flower beds and parks are provided with sanitary conditions, which strengthens the connection of residents with nature and has a positive effect on public health.
In comparison, in 2023, a similar cleanup in the area involved about 60 people and 4 vehicles. While not only was waste collected, but residents were interviewed, construction materials were not given much attention. In 2024, the number of vehicles increased by 6, and 70 tons of waste were removed, but legal measures were taken less frequently. The 2025 campaign is a more systematic and systematic event with special attention to construction waste.
These results indicate the growing environmental responsibility of society - the awareness of residents and the intensive work of the akimat. In the future, the district akimat intends to hold a monthly Sabbath and form a mentality of keeping public places, yards and the environment clean. In addition, environmental lessons for schoolchildren and students, regular monitoring and public formal work will be carried out.
Thus, the Sembilik in the Kazygurt microdistrict is an important initiative aimed at raising the environmental culture and legal responsibility of residents, as well as protecting the city's ecosystem and strengthening green infrastructure. Compared to previous years' events, this Sembilik has expanded in terms of strength and organization, and has acquired a public significance. This is a tangible result that will serve to form a society with a high environmental culture and a healthy ecosystem in the future.
