Since July 22, 2025, the Shymkent City Environmental Department has intensified daily monitoring of cleanliness and public order in the Shymcity Park. This is an ecological and social facility that has received special attention, as it is one of the most popular walking and relaxing areas for city residents. The cleanliness and comfort of the park are today a clear indicator of the city's culture, everyday life and environmental awareness.

Shymcity Park is a multifunctional public space that has become a favorite place not only for Shymkal residents, but also for city guests. It has pedestrian paths, sports fields, children's play areas, green areas and ponds. Thousands of people relax here every day in the summer. Therefore, special requirements are placed on the cleanliness and beauty of the park.

Currently, the following works are being carried out regularly in the park:
– Garbage is removed in a timely manner and special containers are cleaned;
– Green flags — trees and flower beds are maintained and watered several times a week;
– Special cleaning and security teams are on duty every day to ensure public order.

The Department of Environmental Protection has made these works not just a seasonal campaign, but a daily routine. This approach has a positive effect on the park's ecosystem. For example, in 2022 and 2023, the cleanliness of the park depended mainly on Saturdays, volunteer initiatives, or cleaning activities organized before festive events. That is, there was no real and continuous control. In the summer, garbage accumulated in some places, plants withered, and an unpleasant odor appeared. Such situations caused dissatisfaction among residents.

In 2024, a campaign called "Clean Park - Shared Responsibility" was held in Shymcity Park with the participation of municipal services to maintain cleanliness. However, this also remained a temporary campaign. Since July 2025, daily monitoring and professional maintenance have brought the park to a new level of quality.

As for the ecosystem, the cleanliness of the park is not only aesthetic, but also ecologically important. In an unclean environment, harmful bacteria and parasites spread quickly. This not only poses a threat to human health, but also leads to the extinction of the park's flora and fauna. However, with special care, plants develop well and the habitat of birds and insects is preserved. Such an ecosystem ensures natural balance and improves the quality of the city's air.

Shymcity Park also has a positive impact on the psychological well-being of city residents. Walking, playing sports, or simply relaxing in a clean, green environment helps people relieve stress and increase physical activity. This is an important step towards improving public health.

The positive changes in Shymcity Park can serve as an example for other parks. It is planned to introduce a similar systematic monitoring and maintenance system in the city's parks such as Metallurg, Fantasy World, and Zhailau in the future.

This initiative is also changing the attitude of residents towards their culture and the environment. Already, more and more people are putting their garbage in special bins in the park instead of throwing it on the ground. Parents raising their children are also paying attention to this example. This is the development of the culture of not just one park, but the entire city.
