Large-scale information work against human trafficking is underway in Shymkent

The Organized Crime Control Department of the Shymkent City Police Department, in collaboration with the city administration, is conducting comprehensive measures aimed at preventing human trafficking.

As part of this initiative, information materials prepared by non-governmental organizations were placed in the city's airport, train station, bus stations, and other public places with high concentrations of people.
The goal is to raise public awareness of the dangers of human trafficking and prevent the crime.

Police officers and representatives of the akimat distributed information leaflets to citizens and conducted explanatory work. A specially prepared memorandum included tips on how to avoid becoming a victim of human trafficking and hotlines.
