This year, a record 102 billion tenge were allocated for the development of roads in the Kostanay region. This is 40% more than last year. The work covers 1,300 km of public roads and over 400 streets in 103 settlements. The Mendykarinsky district stands out in particular; 19 projects in the road sector are planned for 2025-2026 for a total of 6 billion 133 million tenge, including 10 projects for district roads and 9 projects for the street and road network of settlements. A project has begun to build a new road from the village of Kamenskuralskoye to a farm for the production of freeze-dried mare's milk with a total cost of 1 billion 262.8 million tenge and a length of 10,368 km. For 9 projects on district roads, 1,959,607,800 tenge have been allocated for 2025. The total amount of projects, taking into account 2026, is 3,896,100,100 tenge. Contractors have already been determined for all projects. Work has been completed on the projects "Borovskoye-Budennovka" 15-30 km "and" Stepanovka - Borki "10.1-27.6 km "," Borovskoye - Molodezhnoye "4-22.3 km ", backfilling with an optimal mixture and patching of potholes has been carried out. Under the project "Access road to the village of Kharkovskoye", 4.6 km of asphalt have been laid to date. Soil reinforcement is being carried out near the culvert. Under the project "Borovskoye-Uzynagash" 27-32 km, 5 km of asphalt have already been laid as the first layer. For all projects, the work is planned from June to September 2025.
According to the street and road network, it is planned to implement 9 projects in 7 settlements (the villages of Borovskoye, Stepanovka, Arkhipovka, Kharkovskoye, Kamenskuralskoye, Pervomayskoye, Ivanovka) it is planned to repair 21 streets with a length of 14.5 km for a total of 974.1 million tenge.
At the moment, the share of roads of district significance in satisfactory condition is 79.9%, on the streets of settlements - 48.9%. With the implementation of all the above projects, this figure will be 89.9% for roads of district significance, 53.5% for UDS.
