On the instructions of the Head of State: Mendykarinsky district is improving every year

The forests of our region are of great ecological, climatic, economic and social importance.
The Akimat of Kostanay region is responsible for 462.0 thousand hectares of the state forest fund, including 207.5 thousand hectares covered by forest. Of these, the area of lands of the state forest fund of Mendykara district is 50,384 hectares, including 28,909 hectares covered by forest.
The lands of the forest fund of Mendykara district are located on the territory of three forestry institutions, including:
1) KGU "Borovskoye forestry institution" - 43,984 hectares, including 26,736 hectares covered by forest;
2) KGU "Uzunkol forestry institution" - 4,856 hectares, including 766 hectares covered by forest;
3) KGU "Usakovskoye Forestry Institution" - 1,544 hectares, including forested area - 1,407 hectares.
Every year, work on greening our region continues, in the spring of 2025, KGU "Borovskoye Forestry Institution" planted forest crops on an area of 124.5 hectares, including:
- birch - 87.1 hectares;
- pine - 37.4 hectares.
For the fall of 2025, planting is planned on an area of 155.9 hectares (birch)
The general planting plan for 2025 is 280.4 hectares. Work in this direction will continue.
