KazAID at the EAEU InfoForum: Media Literacy in the Digital World

KazAID press Secretary Armanay Kabdeshova took part in the Info-forum ‘Media Literacy in the Digital World’ held in Minsk and organised by the Centre for Eurasian Communications of the Republic of Belarus with the support of the A.M. Gorchakov Foundation of the Russian Federation. The forum brought together over 30 journalists and media specialists from Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The programme explored practices of information handling and fact-checking, information style in communications, mechanisms for building trust in the digital age, and coverage of the EAEU integration processes. The participants were addressed by representatives of RT International (Russia), Sputnik (Kyrgyzstan), MIR TV and Radio Company (Belarus), Marshall Radio (Armenia), Belteleradiocompany (Belarus), Dara Consult (Kazakhstan) and other leading media structures of the region.

As a result, Armanay Kabdeshova received a certificate of participation. Participation in the forum was a contribution to the development of media and communication competences of KazAID.
