Bilateral сooperation issues discussed with Bolivia

Sucre, August 5, 2025 – As part of his working visit to Bolivia to participate in the official ceremony marking the 200th anniversary of the country’s independence, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Brazil, Bolat Nussupov, held a meeting with the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, Ambassador Mayra Montero.
Ambassador Nussupov handed over a congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, addressed to the President of Bolivia, Luis Alberto Arce, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of independence, and conveyed his best wishes to the leadership of the country.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening comprehensive Kazakhstan-Bolivia relations. Special attention was given to expanding political dialogue and trade and economic cooperation. In this context, the two sides exchanged views on the timing and substantive content of the first political consultations between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the talks, both parties agreed to maintain working contacts at the level of diplomatic missions and expressed mutual interest in launching the mechanism of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries in the near future.
