From August 1 to 3, Singapore hosted the 5th World Beach Sambo Championship, bringing together top athletes from 20 countries. Kazakhstan was proudly represented by Private Bolat Sapar, a serviceman of military unit 5451 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who secured a bronze medal.

The competition took place on specialized beach sports arenas. In the final standings, first place went to FIAS Team 1, second to the Georgian national team, while athletes from Romania and Kazakhstan shared the bronze.

“It is a great honor for me to represent Kazakhstan and the National Guard at a world-class competition. Every match was a tense battle, and I’m happy to have brought home a medal for my country,” said Bolat Sapar.

His participation and podium finish on the international stage is not only a personal achievement but also a shining example for all young Guardsmen.
