Jeddah, August 6, 2025 – The Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jeddah, Ruslan Kospanov, met with the Director General of the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA), Mr. Mohammed A. Alyami.

The parties discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including opportunities for media collaboration and the promotion of Kazakhstan’s current agenda in the media space of OIC member states.

During the meeting, UNA representatives presented an Executive Action Plan aimed at enhancing coordination between UNA and Kazakhstan’s news agencies, as well as improving the quality and reach of media content on key topics, including tourism potential, sustainable development, scientific and technological cooperation, and cultural integration.
