Kazakhstan took part in the UN Conference on Landlocked Countries (LLDC), which is taking place in Avaza, Turkmenistan. Participants of the Export Acceleration 2025 program from QazTrade presented their products at the event.

The presence of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev underscores the high importance of trade connectivity and regional cooperation for the country.

The national pavilion of Kazakhstan featured companies from the fields of agro-industrial complex processing, food industry, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals and export-oriented innovation. Participants demonstrated a wide range of products and the potential to enter international markets.

The key moment of the conference was the speech of Vice Minister of Trade and Integration Asset Nusupov, who noted:

"As the largest landlocked country, we have turned geographical limitations into strategic advantages."

He emphasized that Kazakhstan is actively investing in infrastructure and digital solutions: the KEDEN system has been implemented, a digital trade corridor has been created. This has increased cargo flows along the Middle Corridor by 63% and doubled container traffic in 2024. Trade turnover with SPECA countries has reached $10 billion, with the goal of doubling it in the coming years. Also in 2024, the e-commerce market grew by 60%, reaching $6 billion.

The products of Kazakhstani companies aroused interest among international delegations and were highly praised for their quality and compliance with international standards.

“Participation in the conference opens up broad opportunities for establishing B2B contacts, presenting Kazakhstani brands and strengthening the country’s image as a reliable and promising trading partner on the world stage,” noted Alimzhan Umarov, General Manager of the QazTrade Export Acceleration and Training Group.
