In Petropavlovsk, on the grounds of the National Guard Academy, a training and methodological gathering for officers-educators has commenced. The event is being held under the leadership of Major General Kairat Umbetov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard for Educational, Social, and Legal Work.

About 40 officers from all regions are participating, including deputy commanders of military units, the Academy’s leadership, and servicemen from the Bürkit special unit. The program includes experience sharing, implementation of new approaches to educational work, and discussions on patriotic upbringing of youth.

On the first day, participants met with leading psychologists of the country and prominent public figures. Among them were Nazipa Shanai, Chair of the Republican Mothers’ Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and a member of the Presidential Commission on Gender Policy; Rezida Baimukhanova, Director of the Rukh Center for Psychology and Personal Development, clinical psychologist; Zhankeldy Tazhin, trainer-mediator and Chair of the City Council of Veterans; Bayan Akhatay, Deputy Chair of the Republican Mothers’ Council of the APK; and Gulnar Mukusheva, Director of the North Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore.

At an expanded meeting, Major General Kairat Umbetov conveyed to participants the requirements and instructions of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Major General Ansagan Baltabekov regarding discipline and educational work.

After the psychology lecture, Major General Kairat Umbetov met with first-year cadets who entered the Academy this summer. He encouraged them ahead of the academic year, spoke about the honorable duties of military service, and gave practical advice.

The day concluded with volleyball competitions between teams of military units: 1st place – Regional Command Shyǵys, 2nd place – Ortalyq, and 3rd place – Ońtústik. It is worth noting that the training and methodological gathering will continue until August 13, during which advanced international-level psychological and educational methods will be reviewed.
