Acrobats from the “Balausa” circus, located in the Zhambyl region, are serving their compulsory military service in the ranks of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Soldiers of military unit 6698 in Shymkent, Arman Kairbayev and Azizbek Kalmaganbetov, are partners on stage, friends in life, and now comrades-in-arms in the army. They were brought together by performances in the circus ring, and now their military duty to the Motherland has bound them even closer.

Arman Gabitovich practiced gymnastics since childhood and began mastering the basics of acrobatic skills at the age of seven. By the age of 13, he had already become an artist in a professional troupe, mastering the techniques of performing complex tricks.

Azizbek Sagidullauly received his education as a “physical education teacher.” In his spare time, he worked at performances, where he met Arman. Since then, they have been performing as a duo.

— I have been working in the field of stage performance for 13 years. Azizbek and I have been friends and performing together for about five years. And now we stand in the same formation. Thanks to our experience, military service comes easily. Acrobatics has helped develop endurance, agility, and discipline, — said Private Arman Kairbayev.

The discipline instilled during performances and the responsibility for preparation helped the young men quickly adapt to army life. Upon receiving their draft notices, they decided without hesitation to serve together. Azizbek took an academic leave from university to serve alongside his friend.

Thus, the agility and endurance honed during training, along with trust and mutual support on stage, have become qualities essential for serving the Motherland.
