Meeting between KazAID and the International Organization for Migration (IOM)

August 13, 2025, Astana – A meeting was held between representatives of the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development (KazAID) and the Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Kazakhstan, Mr. Serhan Aktoprak.

The parties discussed the terms of signing a Memorandum of Understanding and considered the possibility of linking it to the launch of a joint project. KazAID presented IOM with a list of topics and countries for analysis, which will help identify priority areas for future cooperation.

Cooperation between KazAID and IOM will open up new opportunities. Projects in the fields of migration, humanitarian assistance, and capacity building of partner countries are planned.
