Today, the mayor of the city, Gabit Syzdykbekov, congratulated the specialists who contribute to the development of the metropolis, and on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, awarded state awards - the Order of Labor Glory of the III degree, the medal "For Valiant Labor", and presented letters of gratitude to the best employees.

The mayor of the city noted the great work of industry specialists, noting their high professional qualifications and responsibility. Thanks to their efforts, new housing, social and infrastructure facilities are being built in the city. These good deeds ensure a comfortable life for the population.

Since Shymkent received the status of a city of republican significance, more than 4.5 million square meters of housing have been built. This year alone, 1.37 million square meters of housing are planned to be commissioned for the benefit of the country. Last year, 11 new schools and 2 student palaces were commissioned within the framework of the "Cozy School" national project. In addition, the construction of 17 educational facilities and a number of social buildings is underway.

Large-scale projects are also being implemented in the development of road and transport infrastructure. On average, 250 kilometers of roads are repaired annually, and this year this figure will reach 1,059 kilometers.
