The Prime Minister instructed to ensure a holistic approach to the digitalization of the railway industry
At a Government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, issues of digitalization of the railway industry were considered. The report was delivered by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, Jaslan Madiyev. Primeminister.kz .
According to the minister, within the framework of digital transformation, the main directions are conversion to electronic format, reengineering of business processes, creation of an innovative ecosystem, provision of trains with OneWeb and Starlink satellite Internet, as well as the introduction of an online transit tracking system. The Prime Minister focused on the digitalization of the industry through the introduction of automated control systems, digital dispatching and integration of information systems. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of a holistic approach to managing the IT infrastructure and integrating information systems in the digitalization of the railway industry.
