The city of Kurchatov has begun implementing a large-scale project, “Reconstruction of the road infrastructure of the city of Kurchatov, Abay region,” as a result of which 100% of the city’s roads will receive a new road surface. The total cost of the project is 1.3 billion tenge, with funding in the amount of 700 million tenge provided for the current 2025.
The work involves replacing the road surface of both the main and secondary streets of the city.
The contractor, PAVLODARZHOLDARY LLP, has already begun work on removing the old asphalt surface.
This organization is also completing the construction of an important road facility — a section of the Kurchatov-Pavlodar highway, which further strengthens the transport connectivity of the region.
