The President of Kazakhstan thanked Sadyr Japarov for the invitation to pay an official visit to the fraternal Kyrgyz Republic.

– I believe that this visit will give a new impetus to the development of friendly relations between the two countries. In fact, Kazakhs and Kyrgyz are like-minded, fraternal countries. Our history is close, our traditions and understanding, our national identity are similar. The harmony and mutual respect of the two peoples have never been broken. Even now, our cooperation is developing rapidly in the spirit of strategic partnership. We have established a political dialogue based on mutual respect at all levels. Our interstate, interparliamentary and intergovernmental councils are working successfully. We are also developing interregional ties. In general, comprehensive and close cooperation has been established between the two countries, - said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Head of State noted the great contribution of the President of Kyrgyzstan to raising bilateral cooperation to a new level.

– I highly appreciate this. Thanks to your hard work, many positive changes are taking place in Kyrgyzstan. You are implementing important initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of the people. The country's economy has grown by 11.7 percent since the beginning of the year - a clear proof of this. We are pleased with all the achievements of our fraternal country. We attach great importance to further strengthening cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, - said the Head of State.
