          An attempt to transfer about 2 kg of hashish was prevented in the mixed security colony. A 27-year-old resident of the Almaty region was spotted by employees of a video surveillance post, after which he was detained at the scene by employees of the institution No. 19 DUIS in the Abai region.

            The man intended to throw a backpack over the main fence, which contained six bundles wrapped with duct tape. Each contained a green substance of plant origin with a specific odor. The examination showed that the seized items were hashish.

             A pre-trial investigation has been launched against the detainee. Recall that for the illegal transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, a criminal penalty is provided in the form of imprisonment for a period of 5 to 10 years.
