Many Shymkent residents noted that participation in the campaign was not only a contribution to the cleanliness of the city, but also an opportunity to feel unity.
“We came as a family, and it was important for the children to see that cleanliness begins with each of us,” said a resident of the Karatau district.
“When you work alongside students, doctors, teachers and neighbors, you understand that this common cause unites us,” added one of the cleanup participants.
The "Taza Kazakhstan" campaign became part of the Comprehensive Plan for the implementation of the state program of the same name in Shymkent until 2029. Its goal is to maintain cleanliness, improve the environmental situation and form an environmental culture among residents.
