On the eve of the new academic year in Shymkent, servicemen of military units 6506 and 6698 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the traditional nationwide campaign “Road to School.”

As part of the event, children of servicemen who are starting first grade this year were solemnly presented with school backpacks and sets of stationery. In total, about 50 first-graders received a full set of school supplies.

“Every child who steps into school for the first time deserves special attention and support. We are pleased to contribute to such an important moment for the families of our servicemen. Caring for them is an integral part of our military traditions,” noted Deputy Commander of Military Unit 6506 for Educational and Socio-Legal Work, Lieutenant Colonel Baurzhan Shoraev.

It should be noted that this kind initiative is carried out annually in all military units of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
