With the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand, in accordance with the request of the Kazakhstani company «Tabys-Agro» LLP, and in order to strengthen trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, a delegation from Samarkand Region visited Akmola region from August 20 to 23, 2025.

The delegation included representatives of the Department of Agriculture of Samarkand Region, as well as entrepreneurs engaged in agricultural production, including heads of farming enterprises specializing in potato cultivation and grain clusters.

During the visit, the delegation became acquainted with the activities of the «TBS Logistic» LLP logistics center in the village of Talapker, Tselinograd District, as well as with the farm and crop fields of «Tabys-Agro» LLP located in the city of Stepnogorsk. Following the negotiations, «Tabys-Agro» LLP and farmers from Samarkand Region reached an agreement on the practical implementation of joint projects in the agricultural sector.

In addition, a bilateral meeting was held at the Stepnogorsk City Administration with the participation of the Akim of Stepnogorsk,  G. Kassenov, Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture of Akmola Region, R. Kassenov, and Chairman of the Board of «SPK KOKSHE» JSC, S. Kussainov.

During the talks, the Uzbek side expressed interest in importing grain and processed grain products from Kazakhstan, as well as exporting fruit and vegetable products to Kazakhstani regions. Furthermore, interest was shown in purchasing corn.

As a result of the meetings, which were held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, an agreement was reached to continue close cooperation.
