Islamabad, August 8, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin, held a meeting with the leadership of the International Road Transport Union (TIR – Transports Internationaux Routiers) and top management of major transport and logistics companies of Pakistan.

During the meeting, Y.Kistafin informed the participants about the work being carried out by the Embassy to enhance cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan in the development of international transport corridors. The Ambassador shared Kazakhstan's mid-term plans, highlighted the growing trade turnover between the two countries, and emphasized the mutual interest of business communities in strengthening collaboration across various sectors, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, textile industry, and others.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a delegation of representatives from Pakistan’s transport and logistics companies to Kazakhstan.
