Today, a solemn festive event dedicated to Constitution Day was held in Shymkent. The event, titled "My Constitution is My Glory," was held at the Kyzgaldak Palace and was attended by the city's mayor, Gabit Syzdykbekov, maslikhat deputies, public figures, representatives of culture and art, and city residents.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, the main document of our country. The main goal of the festive evening, which marked this historical milestone, is to increase the legal culture of the country's citizens, promote the importance of the Constitution in society, and strengthen national unity.
The event began with the raising of the National Flag and the Constitution, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. After that, a specially prepared video clip was presented to the public.
Speaking at the event, the city's mayor, Gabit Syzdykbekov, touched upon the role of the Constitution in the development of the country and congratulated all Shymkent residents on the holiday.
– The Constitution is the foundation of our independence, the strong pillar of our state. Each of its articles is intended for the benefit of the people, the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens. Over thirty years, Kazakhstan has successfully passed various tests and has become a powerful state. All these achievements can be said to be the result of unwavering implementation of the principles of the Constitution, the unity and solidarity of the country. We must always cherish our Constitution and entrust it to future generations. Happy holidays! ”said the mayor.
Then, at the solemn ceremony, a number of citizens who contributed to the development of the country were awarded state medals. Among them were Serik Zholdasov, head of the surgical department of the "City Hospital No. 2" MCC, Shekerbek Shahabayev, teacher of the "Kosmodemyanskaya No. 23" school-lyceum, Bakhadyr Narymbetov, chairman of the Shymkent city maslikhat, Talgat Baltabayev, deputy of the Shymkent city maslikhat, Dosaly Amangeldiev, deputy akim of the Karatau district, Murat Zholdykhozhayev, chairman of the Shymkent city branch of the AMANAT party. Also, the department prosecutor of the Shymkent Department of the Committee for Legal Statistics and Special Accounting of the Prosecutor General's Office, 2nd class lawyer Kuanysh Amanbayev, senior specialist of the 10216 military unit of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Aisulu Kaldybekova, head of the financial and economic department of the Shymkent city akim's office Gulmira Pernebayeva, lawyer of the Shymkent city clinical hospital No. 1 Ruslan Shazadayev received letters of gratitude from the head of the city.
The festive evening was followed by a concert program. Residents and guests of the city listened to patriotic songs such as "Ata-Zag", "Atameken", "Kazakh Eli", "Zhana Kazakhstan", and watched the dance ensembles "Dala Danalygy", "Kazyna", "Yassy". Also, national compositions such as "Nomads", "Kyran Burkit", "Alash Urany" were enjoyed by the public.
At the end of the event, the Ikhlas flower was brought to the stage, bringing a beautiful end to the festive evening. Thus, the concert program dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution gave the participants a national spirit and once again revealed the meaning of this important document.
