Берн, 30 августа 2025 года - The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Switzerland hosted a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by compatriots, representatives of the Kazakh diaspora, including members of the Kazakh-Swiss Association «Birlik».

In his speech, Ambassador Kairat Sarzhanov emphasized the key role of the Basic Law in ensuring independence, stability and democratic development of the country, noting the important function of the 2022 constitutional reform as part of President K.K. Tokayev's policy of building a Fair Kazakhstan, in expanding the rights of citizens and increasing the efficiency of state institutions. In particular, it was noted that the consistent implementation of political reform packages made it possible to create channels for open and transparent communication between the authorities and society, helping to strengthen trust on the part of citizens.

As part of the celebration, the leaders of the Birlik Association, Saule Hofer and Ruslan Tokbulat, were presented with letters of gratitude from the Otandastar Foundation for their active work in promoting national cultural values abroad.

The participants were shown the feature film «Dawn of the Great Steppe» by director Akan Satayev, provided by the Kazakhfilm studio. The film portrays Kasym Khan, whose name is associated with the first code of laws of the Kazakh Khanate.

The event concluded with a friendly buffet.
