September 1 - Knowledge Day - Shymkent city, within the framework of the national project "Schools of the Future", a secondary school No. 151 was solemnly opened. The new educational institution is located in the Tasken microdistrict. The opening ceremony of the school was attended by the mayor of the city, Gabit Syzdykbekov, who congratulated teachers and students on the significant holiday.

In his speech, the Akim emphasized the importance of the "Schools of the Future" project, which is being implemented at the initiative of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. According to him, these schools offer ergonomic educational spaces that meet modern requirements, and their technical equipment is 4 times better than typical projects. All this creates conditions for high-quality and safe education.

The new 1,500-seat school is equipped with 60 classrooms, subject classrooms equipped with interactive panels, STEM and IT laboratories, robotics rooms, workshops, three gyms, a library, co-working areas, a 375-seat cafeteria, and a medical center. It also provides classrooms adapted for children with special educational needs and a comfortable environment. The school is equipped with a full-fledged security system.

It is worth noting that today another important facility in the city was put into operation - IT School-Lyceum No. 9, which was completely renovated as part of the renovation.

In recent years, Shymkent has paid special attention to the development of educational infrastructure in accordance with the instructions of the President. For example, two modern Student Palaces have been built, and today their number in the city has reached three. As a result, 95 percent of students are provided with additional education.

In total, the construction of 12 schools will begin in Shymkent in 2023 as part of the national project, while 11 schools have already been commissioned. Today, their ranks have been replenished with another new educational institution.

This academic year began in Shymkent with more than 400 thousand students in 1352 educational institutions. Of these, about 28 thousand children entered school for the first time. All students were fully provided with textbooks. In addition, children from socially vulnerable families are 100 percent provided with school uniforms and hot meals.
