On the first day of the school year, a modern new school with the state language of instruction, built according to the Keleshek Mektepteri National Project, opened its doors to schoolchildren in the village of Kushmurun, Kostanay region.

Secondary school No. 1 in the village of Kushmurun for 300 places, for the construction of which 3.5 billion tenge was allocated, creates high-quality conditions for a successful educational process for children.

Classrooms are equipped with interactive equipment that meets international requirements and allows teachers and students to use artificial intelligence in the development of scientific papers and create virtual experiments.

Akim of the region Kumar Irgibaevich Aksakalov warmly congratulated the students, parents and staff at the ceremony.

"The opening of a new school is the long-awaited joy of parents and the fulfillment of childhood dreams!

It is gratifying that the school begins its history in the year of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the country's Constitution, as well as the 190th anniversary of the birth of the Kazakh scientist, historian, ethnographer and educator Shokan Ualikhanov.

I am sure that this will become a solid foundation for the formation of true patriotism and active citizenship among schoolchildren.

I wish the students and the staff great achievements and high results," he said.

The school has 24 classrooms. The physics, chemistry, and biology classrooms with educational laboratories for biotechnology and nanotechnology, a robotics classroom and computer labs, and a STEM laboratory are equipped with modern equipment.

The new workshops "Culture at Home", equipped with modern machines, and "Design and Technology" with sewing equipment, a cooking room will help students acquire the necessary skills for adulthood.

The spacious gym is fully equipped with sports equipment, and the choreography room is ready to host young dancers.

For the comprehensive development of students and the active work of teachers, there is an assembly hall, a modern library with a reading room and cozy coworking areas.  

All this is aimed at improving the quality of students' knowledge, revealing their abilities and talents, and developing the scientific and creative potential of the younger generation.

Schoolgirl's mother Balgyn Ermagambetova shares her emotions: "Today we witnessed a special moment that filled our hearts with joy. Previously, our school was located in the building of the old military hospital. Now I know that in this new, modern educational institution, my daughter will be able to achieve high results and boldly enter adulthood!"

It should be recalled that this is the fifth school opened in the region as part of the Keleshek Mektepteri National Project and the second one opened in the village.  In total, according to the project, 6 schools with 4,500 places will be opened in the region.

This will solve the problem of the shortage of student places in the region, create all the necessary conditions for the comprehensive development of a new generation of Kazakhstanis.
