In Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Türkiye, a solemn graduation ceremony was held at the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy. Among the graduates were nine young officers of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event gained special significance through the participation of the President of Türkiye. During the ceremony, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan personally presented diplomas to the graduates of the Academy, including Lieutenant Askhat Sultanakhmet of the National Guard of Kazakhstan. This moment became a vivid symbol of trust and strong partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.

At the official invitation of the Turkish side, the ceremony was attended by a delegation of the National Guard, headed by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov.

During their visit to the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy, the Kazakh representatives became acquainted with the personnel training system and modern methods of military education. In addition, the delegation visited the Gendarmerie Logistics Command, the Special Forces training center JÖAK, as well as the Command and Control Center for Communication Electronics and Information Systems.

An important part of the working trip was the official meeting with the Commander of the Gendarmerie, General Ali Çardakçı.

The visit of the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard to Türkiye became an important milestone in the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of military education and training, contributing to the exchange of experience, strengthening professional ties, and deepening cooperation in the preparation of special forces units and operational unit commanders of the two countries.

It should be noted that currently, 33 servicemen from Kazakhstan are studying at the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy in Türkiye.
