Let us recall that on September 2, the 8th meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council was held in Beijing with the participation of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and First Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee Ding Xuexiang.

In his speech, the Head of State noted that China is a reliable neighbor, close friend and eternal strategic partner of Kazakhstan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that China has invested $27 billion in Kazakhstan's economy, also noted that the capacity of the China-Europe transit corridor through Kazakhstan will increase 5-fold, outlined the priorities of cooperation with China in energy, announced key projects to diversify Kazakhstan's economy, suggested that China develop organic production, and emphasized that Kazakhstan counts on close cooperation with China in the field of AI. The President also called for strengthening Kazakh-Chinese business contacts in the financial sector.

Following the results of the RK-PRC Business Council, over 70 documents worth over $15 billion were signed.

Then the Head of State took part in the opening ceremony of a wind power components manufacturing plant in the Zhambyl region, received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC, met with the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, as well as with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huawei Technologies Co. LTD Hua Liang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sany Group Co. Ltd. Xiang Wenbo, CEO of China Energy Engineering Group Ni Zhen, and received the Director General of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) Shen Yanfeng. After that, the Head of State took part in the opening ceremony of the Cultural Center of Kazakhstan in China.

On September 1, in the city of Tianjin, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, spoke at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO member states, then took part in the SCO Plus summit, which was held under the slogan “Implementing multilateralism, ensuring regional security and promoting sustainable development.”

On August 30, the Head of State held talks with the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
