As part of the celebration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan on September 5, an open nationwide dictation was held among students of grades 9–11 on the topic “10 Interesting Facts about the Great Abai”, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh poet and thinker Abai Kunanbayuly.

The purpose of the event is to strengthen the role of the state language in society as a unifying factor for the people of Kazakhstan.
