For the first time in the history of the country: Aitys dedicated to the prestige of working professions was held in Kokshetau

As part of the Year of Working Professions, announced by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a republican aitys "Kurmet sagan, kurylyshy!" was held in Kokshetau, dedicated to the work of builders and working professions. The purpose of the event was to increase the prestige of working professions and promote their importance in society.

The event was organized with the support of the Akimat of the city of Kokshetau and brought together talented aityker-akyns from all over Kazakhstan. The main sponsor was the construction company Zhakupov Residential Complex.

"Holding the aitys "Kurmet sagan, kurylyshy!" in Kokshetau is a great honor for our region. This is not just a competition of masters of the word, but a recognition of the importance of the work of builders, an assessment of their contribution not only to the development of our region, but also to the socio-economic development of the whole country," said Marat Akhmetzhanov, Akim of the region, in his speech at the opening ceremony.

The presenter of the aitys was the famous aitysker, scientist and public figure Amanzhol Altayev.

The jury consisted of prominent cultural and scientific figures. The jury consisted of: Doctor of Philology, academician, writer and journalist Ualikhan Kalizhan, Doctor of Philology Koilybai Asanov, poet Serikzat Duysengazy, aityker-akyn Arman Berdalin, chairman of the regional branch of the International Union of Aityker-akyn, zhyrshy-termesh Kudaiberli Myrzabekov and other respected cultural representatives.

Ten outstanding IT experts representing various regions of the country took part in the verbal competition.:

  • Dauren Aksakalov (Shymkent) – the winner, received the main prize of 3,000,000 tenge and a certificate from the organizing committee;
  • Aspanbek Shugatayev (Pavlodar) – 1st place, 2,000,000 tenge and certificate;
  • Muhamed Konkaev (Kokshetau) – II place, 1,500,000 tenge and certificate;
  • Nurbol Zhauynbayev (Aktobe) and Yerkebulan Kaynazarov (Turkestan region) – third place, each received 1,000,000 tenge and a certificate.

The remaining participants received 500,000 tenge each and certificates from the organizing committee.

During aitys, poets praised the work of the builders, praising their contribution to the architecture and development of the country. During the event, the guests also noted the latest changes in Kokshetau, including new residential areas, landscaped beaches of Lake Kopa, amphitheaters, modern multi-storey buildings, flower beds and recreation areas, which were also woven into the poetic lines of aityskerler.
