The Department for Combating Drug Crime of the DR, together with members of the Council for the Prevention of Drug Offenses, conducted a preventive raid in the dormitory of the College of Motor Transport.

The purpose of the visit is to remind students about the dangers of using illegal substances and to prevent the involvement of young people in the drug business.

"One of the most important tasks today is not only to identify violations, but also to carry out explanatory work. We must do everything possible to protect young people from harm," said Manat Suentev, an operative at the Department.

During the event, the police distributed pamphlets and memos to students explaining the consequences of drug use and distribution, as well as measures of criminal and administrative responsibility.

In addition, with the consent of the college administration and the students themselves, the dorm rooms were checked using a service dog.

"We agreed on the inspection in advance, everything went correctly and without violations. The students themselves showed interest, asked questions, which indicates their concern," Suentev added.

After the tour, an open conversation took place, where the police officers answered the students' questions and discussed topics of concern to them related to security and legal aspects.
