🥉 Historic Victory for Kazakhstan at the World Archery Championships

For the first time in history, the women’s national team of Kazakhstan has won bronze medals at the World Archery Championships, held in Gwangju, Republic of Korea, in September 2025.

Final standings:

🥇 1st place — Team Mexico 🇲🇽

🥈 2nd place — Team USA 🇺🇸

🥉 3rd place — Team Kazakhstan 🇰🇿

The women’s team, consisting of Adel Zhexenbinova, Viktoriya Lyan, and Roksana Yunusova, demonstrated outstanding skill and determination. On their way to the podium, our athletes claimed decisive victories over the teams of Poland, Estonia, Great Britain, and Italy, making history by reaching the semifinals and securing bronze medals for the very first time.

This historic achievement is the result of the professionalism of our athletes and the tireless efforts of the coaching staff. Special gratitude is extended to Baurzhan Sagynbayuly Zholdybayev, whose significant contribution was instrumental in preparing the team and advancing the development of archery in Kazakhstan.

This victory strengthens our country’s position on the global stage, contributes to the popularization and growth of archery in Kazakhstan, and stands as a source of national pride.
