How many days in advance should residents be notified of the increase in the monthly tariff for condominiums? In Kazakhstan, from September 15, changes related to the work of management companies and Cooperatives of apartment owners of apartment buildings will come into force. Now not all management entities can leave condominium facilities without notice and have the right to unilaterally raise the monthly tariff. The law introduced the obligation to notify the owners of apartments, non-residential premises, parking spaces and warehouses of the intention to change the cost of services for the management of a condominium object or to terminate their activities ahead of schedule at least three months before the date of the expected change or termination of activities. The document confirming the notification of the tariff increase and the fact of considering this issue is the minutes of the meeting of owners. The minutes of the meeting indicate the consent or refusal of the owners to raise the tariff, as well as the desire to replace the subject of management. In addition, management entities are obliged to notify the housing inspectorates of the start or termination of their activities at the facility at least three days in advance, indicating the address of the facility. In turn, housing inspectorates must enter all incoming information into a single register.
