"In many rapidly growing countries, cities at the forefront of development have become poles that attract investments and technologies. Alatau city should become a new business and innovation center of the country. For the implementation of this project of national importance, special land has been allocated, preliminary planning work has been completed, and the main infrastructure networks have been connected."

During my recent trip to China, agreements worth billions of dollars were signed with leading global companies. One such company, which participated in the construction of the Shenzhen Global Technopolis, is now directly involved in the implementation of the Alatau City project.

The next step is to create a strong institutional foundation for Alatau City. A decree must be developed within ten days to grant the city special status, making it directly subordinate to the country's government.

Then, no later than six months later, a separate law should be adopted. The document should include the city's governance regime, its financial model, and other important issues.

It is worth noting that special legal status is not a privilege granted to the city, but rather a measure or tool necessary for the project to be implemented in practice, rather than remaining on paper.

Alatau City should become the first fully digitalized city in the region. It should introduce everything from the use of Smart City technologies to paying for goods and services with cryptocurrency.
