The goals set by our President are a solid foundation for the development of our state in a new era. To achieve these goals, each of us must work hard and contribute to the well-being of the country.
This was stated by the mayor of Shymkent, Gabit Syzdykbekov, speaking at the meeting to discuss the Address of the Head of State.
The meeting, held at the city administration, was attended by representatives of various state bodies, deputies of the city council, members of the Public Council, representatives of the intelligentsia, heads of higher education institutions, representatives of education, culture and other spheres.
– Each Address of our President determines the specific direction of the country's development and strengthens the people's confidence in the future. In his Address, the Head of State raised topical issues related to the country's economic prosperity, social stability, the development of science and technology, and the establishment of a just society. All the tasks set by the President are aimed at improving the quality of life of our people and strengthening the power of our state, – Gabit Abdimazhituly.
During the meeting, state and public figures, heads of universities, scientists, experts, and representatives of various industries shared their thoughts on the important issues raised in the Address of the Head of State.
– One of the most important issues that the President noted is attracting significant investments to our country. This is the main mechanism for the sustainable development of the economy and improving the quality of life of the population. As the Head of State noted, attracting investments is a direct task not only of central bodies, but also of local executive authorities. The President clearly stated that akims are personally responsible for the investment climate in the regions, - said the Chairman of the Shymkent city maslikhat, Bakhadyr Narymbetov.
Then, Onalbay Ayashev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhumabek Tashenov University, emphasized that science is the strongest pillar of the country's development, noting that artificial intelligence and digital technologies are the driving force of that science in the new century.
– Artificial intelligence is not just a technological tool. It is a deep synthesis of knowledge and science. In our time, neither science nor the economy can progress without qualified specialists who have received a high-quality education and are well-versed in the IT sector. Therefore, the President's instructions on training a new generation of specialists and closely linking digitalization with science are a strategic decision for the development of the country, - said Onalbay Ayashuly.
According to him, large-scale measures are being implemented in our country to support education and science. In recent years, branches of the best foreign universities have been opened, cooperation with international scientific centers has been strengthened. This is a clear manifestation of the integration of Kazakhstani science into the global scientific space. At the same time, the volume of funding for science has increased, and grants allocated for scientific projects are increasing exponentially. These steps provide a great opportunity for young scientists to embark on new research.
And the poet and martial artist Birzhan Baituov said that the President put a lot of thought into our people in this year's Address.
– Intolerance of injustice is a reflection of civic pride, not turning a blind eye to illegality is a force that strengthens the country. Only if we firmly adhere to this will the foundation of our state be strong. Intolerance of illegality is not only a requirement for the authorities, it is a measure of the internal culture of each of us. Not turning a blind eye to disorderly behavior on the street, minor violations in everyday life, and indecency in public places, but speaking out against it is a characteristic of a civilized society. Where order is established, the people's lives improve, the economy develops, and the future of generations is bright, - said B. Baituov.
