Quito, September 10, 2025 - Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Ecuador Leopoldo Ocampo and Director of the Club de Leones Quito Luz de América Clinic Marcelo Viscarra signed a cooperation agreement aimed at expanding access to quality medical services for Kazakh citizens residing in Ecuador.

The main goal of this agreement is to provide timely medical care with special benefits for Kazakh citizens living in Ecuador, in accordance with the principles of international cooperation and solidarity between the peoples of the two countries.

 This initiative was made possible thanks to the diplomatic and humanitarian efforts of the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan L.Ocampo, who actively promotes the well-being of Kazakh citizens in Ecuador. The Club de Leones Quito Luz de América clinic has extensive experience in providing quality medical services in accordance with the principles of social responsibility and humanitarian service.

During the official signing ceremony, both parties emphasized the importance of close cooperation between social and consular institutions of the two countries to improve the quality of life of Kazakhstani citizens temporarily or permanently residing in Ecuador.

According to the parties, the signed agreement marks an important milestone in relations between Ecuador and Kazakhstan in the field of healthcare, which will lay the foundation for further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two states.
