On September 8, 2025, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered his annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan entitled “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Solutions through Digital Transformation”.

Key points:

• Adoption of a Digital Code covering artificial intelligence, the platform economy, and the use of big data.

• Creation of a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister.

• Creation of a special cryptocurrency asset fund, which will also serve as the country's crypto reserve.

President K.Tokayev emphasized that digitalization and AI will form the basis for the modernization of the economy and public administration, ensuring greater efficiency, transparency, and a people-centered approach.
