Today, we witnessed a historic moment when the Address of the Head of State “Kazakhstan in the era of artificial intelligence: topical issues and their solution through radical digital transformations” gave a new impetus to all our compatriots and outlined plans for new results. At a joint meeting of the chambers of parliament, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made important statements regarding the development of our country, domestic science and higher education. In his address, the Head of State emphasized the importance of interlinking the methods of managing science, education, and innovation. Our country is moving to a knowledge economy. Therefore, it is necessary to interlink the methods of managing science, education, and innovation. He also noted that universities that widely use artificial intelligence can be given greater autonomy.

The President also specified specific priorities in his speech: "The government should take additional measures to support talented researchers. We need to think about and implement effective ways to return our qualified specialists to the country. It is also necessary to review migration policy to eliminate the shortage of personnel."
