"In today's Address, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set the task of transforming Kazakhstan into a digital country within three years. Leading countries in the world are not only strengthening their economies through digital development, but also raising the education and culture of their people to a new level. Our country should not lag behind. The President's statement that "Kazakhstan should become a digital state within three years" is a statement born of this sense of responsibility.
As for the library sector, digitization is especially important for us. Many people think that a library is just a place to store books. In fact, it is a treasure trove of knowledge and culture. Today, we are not limited to offering readers only paper books, we are developing a collection of electronic books and trying to give people access to information anytime, anywhere through various online platforms. If our country becomes a digital country, this process will go much faster. For example, if individual book recommendations are provided to the reader through artificial intelligence, each person will have the opportunity to develop in a direction that suits them. This is the image of the library of the future.
As the President said, sustainable development and security are not just about the economy. They are also directly related to the mindset and culture of the people. We must not forget our national values. By transferring Kazakh literature, culture, and history into a digital format, we can not only preserve it for future generations, but also make it known to the whole world. Therefore, we fully support the goals set out in the President's Address. As a supporter of the library industry, we are ready to serve in the digital age and provide new opportunities for readers. The most important thing is that technology should serve the people and contribute to the development of education and culture. Only then will we become "digital Kazakhstan."
