Budapest, September 5, 2025 – The Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev is visiting Hungary.

Zh. Tuimebayev participated in the "International Symposium of Altai Communities" organized by the University of Szeged and held negotiations with the leadership of the Universities of Szeged, Obuda and ELTE on establishing bilateral cooperation.

In addition, the Rector and Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Budapest Abzal Saparbekuly were welcomed by the Vice-Speaker of the Hungarian State Assembly, Sandor Lezhak, and exchanged views on promising bilateral projects in the cultural, humanitarian and educational and scientific spheres.

At the end of the talks, Zh. Tuimebayev noted S. Lezsák's contribution to the Turkic world and his active role in promoting relations between fraternal peoples, and awarded him with a jubilee badge in honor of the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
