As part of the operational-preventive event "District ," employees of the probation service department of the Timiryazev district established the whereabouts of a 45-year-old man who evaded registration.

Earlier, the court found him guilty of committing fraud and imposed a sentence in the form of restriction of freedom. According to the court decision, within ten days after the verdict entered into force, he was obliged to appear at the probation service department for registration. However, he did not do this and was declared wanted.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the employees of the probation service department and the police of the Timiryazev and Ayyrtau districts, the violator was detained in the village of Karakamys of the North Kazakhstan region, where he went with his family, trying to evade the execution of the sentence.

"On this fact, the employees of the probation service department sent materials to the court on replacing the punishment in the form of restriction of freedom with imprisonment. Thus, the convicted person, having the opportunity to serve the sentence without isolation from society, did not use it," – reported in the Department.

In the probation service they note that such cases show: the law always finds the violator, and attempts to evade only worsen the situation.
