A meeting of the interdepartmental Commission on crime prevention was held under the chairmanship of Akim of the district Berik Sarmenbayev. The meeting was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies, heads of state institutions, members of the commission and akims of rural districts. During the meeting, additional issues were considered on the Prevention of offenses in the field of family and domestic relations, including the effectiveness of providing psychological assistance to offenders, measures to prevent crimes of theft of other people's property, as well as the types of crimes in which there was an increase. At the same time, a work plan of the commission for 2026 was presented, and Deputy Head of the District Police Department Kassymkhan Asanovich made a report. Akim of the district Berik Abdygapparuly focused on the issues of family education and order in society, noting the importance of preventing domestic violence. He also noted that there is an increase in some categories of crimes and instructed to strengthen specific preventive measures. Following the meeting, relevant instructions were given to law enforcement agencies and responsible industry leaders.
