At the Saken Seifullin Central Library of Zhetysu Region, in the department for the blind and visually impaired, a cognitive hour entitled “The People – the Golden Cradle” was held, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the birth of prominent scholar, public figure, Doctor of Economics, and Professor Zhumakhan Balapanov.

During the event, participants learned more about Balapanov’s childhood, his heroism during the years of the Great Patriotic War, and his significant contribution to the country’s development in peacetime. Information was shared about his scientific research in the field of agricultural economics, his work as a professor, and his efforts in training young specialists.

The attendees highlighted his service to the nation, his academic works, and shared personal memories. The meeting was filled with warm reflections and once again widely promoted the exemplary life and legacy of the distinguished scholar.
