The republican environmental program "Clean Kazakhstan", aimed at forming the ecological culture of the population and increasing the level of environmental responsibility, continues in Shymkent. One of the main directions of the program is the organization of events in educational institutions of the city.

Open environmental classes, educational hours, and educational meetings are being held in schools, colleges, and universities across the city. Special attention is paid to engaging young people in environmental protection issues.

In particular, open classes on the topics of ecology, sustainable lifestyle, and caring for nature were organized in comprehensive schools No. 50, 65, and 135.

Also, a meeting aimed at increasing the environmental culture of young people was held at the city's Youth Resource Center. The event was attended by eco-volunteers, environmental specialists, and representatives of non-governmental organizations. During the meeting, the participants discussed current environmental issues and proposed ways to solve them.
