Shymkent continues to implement the national environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan," aimed at fostering environmental awareness and increasing environmental responsibility among the population. One of the program's key focuses is holding events at the city's educational institutions.
Schools, colleges, and universities in Shymkent are hosting open environmental lessons, educational events, and outreach meetings. Particular attention is paid to engaging young people in environmental issues.
Thus, in secondary schools No. 50, 65, and 135, thematic events were organized, during which students took part in open lessons dedicated to issues of ecology, sustainable lifestyles, and caring for nature.
Additionally, the city's Youth Resource Center hosted a meeting aimed at raising environmental awareness among young people. The event brought together environmental volunteers, environmental specialists, and representatives of public organizations. Participants discussed current environmental issues and proposed solutions.
Representatives of youth associations, students, and invited guests actively participated in all events, delivering addresses urging the younger generation to pay special attention to environmental protection issues and to make a personal contribution to building an environmentally responsible society.
The events were organized by the city's educational institutions, the Youth Resource Center, and public environmental organizations.
The "Taza Kazakhstan" program is being implemented with the aim of activating the participation of citizens, especially young people, in citywide environmental initiatives, the formation of an environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyle, and the development of environmental awareness among the population.
